Lee Festival 23rd August
Monday, September 1st, 2008The 23rd August saw the Lee Festival take place in Lee-on-the-Solent. Events included a fireworks display and a mountain bike stunt team, and a number of community groups attended and set up stands on the high street. Groundwork Solent also took part, providing information on youth volunteering and helping to organize the opening of part of the former naval air base HMS Daedalus, which was open as part of the festival.
